Hearing Loss

Hearing loss can occur at any age and affects up to 40% of all Canadians. Untreated hearing loss can influence your physical, social, emotional and psychological health. That’s why early detection and treatment is so important. A hearing test is performed to determine what degree of hearing loss is experienced, as well as to isolate the type (conductive, sensorineural, or mixed). Depending on the severity and type, different treatments and follow-ups will be recommended.

The services of an audiologist does not require a referral from a physician or another health professional. You may choose to refer yourself if you feel your hearing has been compromised, or feel that a loved one now has a difficult time hearing with day-to-day activities.

At Chorus, our registered Audiologists can provide comprehensive hearing tests, and will always go over our findings with you. We will always take the time to answer any questions that you may have.

At Chorus:

  • FREE hearing tests for adults 18+
  • Flexible scheduling of appointments around your time
  • No wait lists
  • Comprehensive results given after your visit or faxed to your health care provider
